Barefoot On The Rock Pile

Went for the barefoot climb of Washington last Sunday. Went up Huntington and down Tuckerman ravines. It was good to get up in the mountains again even with no snow. There was a tiny patch under the chute, but it was probably 1/4 turn length. It was a really nice day, blue skies and puffy clouds.

Half way up the headwall

That's different...

First major barefoot hike- or done this before? ...any damage to feet? Lotta hikers must have thought you were nuts....!

Even Naked Guy wears something on his feet!

Go for the barefoot 4000 footer club! You'll be the first and only likely.

I'm pretty sure it's been done, both in NH and the Daks.
