  • Left Gully Goods -- December 2!

Oh what a day up high!

Received a text from JR's eyeblack saturday afternoon to head up to left gully and explore. OK, sure - i could use a workout. Let's do it.

Expectations low - ski gear in car - we skinned up at 9am.

Left Gully had frickin snow. Go figure.

the headwall did not! What an amazing sight though.

After a bushwhack up below headwall/chute, the snow was soft and deep in LG. It was gonna be good.

We were able to get right to the top! The drop in was no-fall, and a little hairy!

But the goods were oh so good!

    yessah!

early season turns? December 2? Amazing!

A couple of baxter winter stouts at the trailhead and time to go.

    boom!

Great way to kick off the season...photographers delight up high yesterday.

LG skied 650 vert from the top to the weeds. Skiing was quality where the snow was.

Saw that thin sliver of snow in the MWAC photos last week and thought... "Wonder when that will be skiable?" NOW apparently! Well done.
