  • Scarpa Buckle Repair: Who? How?

So...while skiing this weekend one of the buckles on my Scarpa Spirits popped off with the rivet.

Hole looks okay and so does the buckle...so my question is. How can I repair, or who in the area can do it for me?

    Will post some pics later...

T-nut. Any hardware store. A diy repair. Buy a spare or two.

Good call. Greg suggested something similar...think that's my fix...

when I blew out a boot hinge rivet [in GOS, unbeknownst to me, I just started skiing really sloppy ] I temporarily threaded some 8 mil cord in, and knotted it on both sides. That got me through two days at Bolton. Then, I took them to Inner Bootworks near Stowe, and they replaced the rivet in a jiffy. Nice folk there.
