Why couldn't have been like this for me?

I had to endure a night of hell and missed out big time.

And now I won't be able to get back for at least a month.

Yeah Kfar,

you put in your time. You have paid homage. The snow gods will bless you with a masculine child....and some powpowpowpowpow!

On a sad note, it still looks like at least some rain will get all over that lovely stuff. On the plus side there should be a change back to snow before it is all over.

With any luck there will be strong bonding between the current snow and new (post drizzle) snow. Then we can think in tems of bonding with Left Gulley or something!

Look up often and give thanks you haven't been slid yet!

Left Gully is looking good.

Backcountry conditions (http://www.mountwashington.org/backcountry/index.php) is reporting 33" at the Ravine, with 60' up top.

Snow, baby, blow!

There is(was) definatley some skiable terrain in these pics. In some locations may 5- 10 or more turns could be had. Probally not top to bottoms runs, but who knows.

Avy danger was running pretty high so I would not have skied it until it danger dropped to low.

Nonetheless - really beautyful to look at.
