No team EMS to defend the title this year (or so it appears).
But, I just got word that I'll be part of the "Dynamic Duo" category. Hooking up with a real solid kayaker/biker. I'll be doing the run, hike and ski.
My running training is always solid. Now this gives me the excuse for another trip or two over the upcoming weeks for hike/ski training!

BTW to RR (if you read this) - do you know Mike (can't remember last name), who manages the N. Conway store? I talked a bunch with him last year and finally met him this weekend. Great guy.

Congratulations! Keep us posted on how you and your team does.
It looks like a really fun and tough event but outside of my abilities, this year anyway. There is always next year......

You just need the right team. It's a pentathlon and can be run as a relay.

But then I have the share the glory and I would really like to add the title 'Tuckerwoman' after my name. So much better than those silly college degrees. ;)
Seriously, I have no interest in taking up kayaking - I already have enough trouble fitting in my current sports - so being part of a team seems really attractive.

I'll be the fifth person on the team if it involves drinking beer and cheering on the rest of the team from the lunch rocks...hey, everyone has the things they'rs good at...

The pentathlon is on April 19th right? On the friends of tuckerman website the flier says April 18th-20th but from what I have heard the race is on Saturday the 19th.

Correct, the actual race in the 19th. Starts at 7:00. Word is that once again the ski will be on Left Gully.
