How's conditions on the "U"s? I was in New Boston last night and there seemed to be a good bit of snow left.....

I intend to find out on my way home from work today- i'll post a conditions update. I think i saw Surf88's rig in the lot yesterday afternoon, so he may have the beta you seek.

Creamy corn and plenty of cover minus the odd rock poking through. There was still a few hard crust spots in the shade yesterday, but most of them should be soft today. Also there are a few small spots where ground/and rain water washed out the snow but they are easily avoidable.

I'm thinking to fit some turns in on sunday afternoon. Surf, if you want to try out the Mojo and Burton splitters, let's coordinate.

Why, are you looking to deal one? or just demo?

I'll be on snow all day saturday elsewhere, so I doubt I'll be able to plan anything for sunday, however, I may be able to squeeze in a run sometime after 2:30 if anyones still hanging around.

This just in: 4-8 inches predicted tonight into tommorow

The Mojo's a spare board and demo for now (a nice one at that). I picked it up for no bad reason, figure out what to do with it later. You ride regular foot right?

I can get to U at 2 p.m. at earliest on sunday, so that could work.

I had a pretty decent run yesterday late afternoonish on the Chat Noir. There is still plenty of cover, at least on that aspect of the hill. Most of the run was without crust, but there isn't alot of depth to the soft snow - yet. The corn crop was starting to come in rather nicely, but that was before the storm. I guess i'll need to check the situation out again today, just to see how the new snow has affected the conditions.

...not quite the reward a philoshopher might suggest, but the turns in freshies will be :D

Hey Stoneman, did you see my signature? So sad, and I noticed a few of the blazes are missing now also.

Me too. I'm still negotiating to get out of work at noon.

Surf88,
If you mean board tracks, then yes. It looks like that route has seen alot of traffic recently. Did someone nick some of the skiing cat signs?

I'm goofy to and ride 18/15 or so. Looks like one puck setup would do. If it looks like we could meet I'll throw a spare set of bindings on the Mojo.

I can't ride tight trees with my rear foot more than 5. Does the angle adjust?

Yes, it does, but you have to adjust the pucks together to keep their edges in line. It's no big deal on the factory models, takes five minutes or so.
