Has anyone been up to Tuckerman's in the recent weeks? Does anyone have a skill at predicting the next two weeks on the mountian?
Please help me out, I want to run Tuckermans before the snow fades away, and pictures I have seen show that the headwall is still covered. The week of June 14 - 20 is my window. Is it still possible? What are the greatest dangers up there at that time if there is still snow? Skiing skill level is not a question, just an unfamilular mountian. I'd be coming up from Maryland.
Would anyone be interested in skiing/boarding it during those dates? Let me Know

I was up on Hillman's Highway on Memorial Day, and conditions were excellent. There were not any bare patches, only an occasional top of a tree poking up through the surface of the snow which was a packed soft surface; not quite packed powder and not quite corn. Everfyone who skied the bowl had a lot of fun. I saw only five people on Hillman's, and they were getting ready to hike out just as I came out of the woods onto Hillman's. I climbed to the top of Superstar at Killington on Sunday, and skied the last patches of snow that were left their. I was told that the Bowl at Tuckerman's was still in great shape the day before. Skiing should be good through July 1. However, Superstar at Killington lost all of its snow in one week. Keep an eye on this board everyday, seeing what skiers coming back from Tuckerman's have to say. Also keep an eye on the forecast and weather conditions. It snowed up here in New England every week in May; except for the the last few days. Tuckerman's picked up about 40 inches of snow in May. I had two friends that were supposed to hike up to the Ravine on Monday, the wind chill was -13, and I have NOT heard from them; I am a little concerned about how their day went. Have a good trip, and ski on bro.

When your friends get back with you post what they have to say. Conditions looked good from last weekend. Try this link for June 1 conditions http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus/messages/16/1661.html?1023105599
I am going up this weekend http://timefortuckerman.com/ubb/smile.gif and will keep you posted.
