Who's planning some turns this weekend?

Anybody planning to find some snow to claim first turns?

I just called the auto-road phone, and it's "Closed to Private Vehicals." Just for today I guess, becuase of *SNOW*. They're gonna try to open it again this season. Tours are still going 5 miles up the road.

Looks like you'll have to find somewhere else to test those new snow tires.

well, there sure wasnt enough to ski in, but i saw snow! i drove up mount greylock today and there were a few light flurries at the top. according to a hiker, there was a "white out" in the morning hours, but apparently not enough to have accumulated. the foliage was worth the trip, and the unexpected snow was a major plus. hopefully someone was able to actually ski this weekend!
