View Full Version : Roll Call - 2003-12-15 - Kmart or...
Killington has a NH/VT/BlameCanada day tommorow - and they look like they might get a few flakes between now and then.
KmRn expressed interest, and SkiLas is talking - but he's from Mass and won't get a 1/2 deal unless we score him an ID.
The sugarbush tickets from the movie will be scoreable tommorow too... hmmmm... free skiing. Sugarbush south is open - lots stashes there. But Killingtime is huge.
Lemme know whose coming and later tonight I'll set up a poll for location.

M@ - I am skiing tomorrow, just not sure where. I might have to work tonight until 2am, if so, then I'll probably just head to Loon - closer and my pass is there. If I don't work, then I'm game for anything!!

Recovering from the last :skifemcool: .
Gotta :atwork: .
But, have fun.
BTW, M@ :ma: , cute avatar.
Can I bring a few compainions on this ride?
I'm going solo tommorow - either kMart or sBush. I need copilots. Whose with me? Look out the window, call in sick, it's been a whole weekend for you to pick a day that you caught what I'm sure lots of you have seen people at work with.
I'm gonna make some calls - I got 2 extra free tickets to sBush ala the Warren Miller movie.

6:45pm looking like kMart's gonna get more of the goods, but I don't wanna head there solo with no guide.
I got my new crossmaxes mounted, met a new ski teck/mechanic - found out he likes long trail. Looking for some tree runs tommorow and probably gonna have to head to sugarbush to get them.
I'm gonna check the depth around the area after Simpsons.
Oh yeah - did you forget Simpsons? 8pm Sunday - forever and ever, amen.

M@ - Loon for me tomorrow
Simpsons was one of the best I've ever seen... I was rolling - Suzy gave me many "quite M@!"'s.
Anyhow: I'm skiing tommorow for sure - I'd love to be with all of you. There's "pret-near" the same at all our favorite holes, So I might be looking to minimize expensiese - which means Killinmart - who'se in?
I need co=pilots.

I don't want to talk about it... do NOT want to talk about it
I'm sure you guys are having a blast in the pow pow
Elwood: A thousand apologies for not making it to the bush - it was not for lack of trying. I got as far as Exit 9 on I89 in NH, at around 8:30am. By my calculations I was gonna get to Sugarbush at around noon at the best - and pow don't last past noon. So I veered left and went to Sunape. Caught some fresh tracks - and the glades were to die for. Sure with I could'a been in the brook with you and the locals... d'oh.
Had a great day - but skiing alone ain't as much fun as skiing with folks. I left around 2:30pm becuase I had skiied everything twice.
My new CrossMaxii were awsome though!

M@,
don't feel bad...I never made it to the Bush either! My roommate left his skis up at smuggs (he is an instructor up there), so we had to go there. I was so indecisive about where I wanted to ski today. Smuggs was great. 2-3 feet of fresh powder. Missed the first tracks on all the groomers, but you know that's not where I went anyway. Hiked out over the pond and dropped in on the b-day bowls. Had to break trail to get out there (big pain in the *** on alpine skis), but once we hit the steeps, we were good. I threw myself off of every rock possible today. I have no fear of falling in the fluff! Sorry we didn't have a chance to hit the brook, but we have all winter ahead of us!
