might head up with some hikers friday wondering a) would there be snow (at least 1') on carriage rd. or gorge trail and b) if snow does anyone here want to meet up? pm if interested

I was in Franconia notch yesterday & it was really blowing hard. While the lower part of the carriage road may have a foot, any areas exposed to the wind will likely not have much cover right now. Even if it did have a foot, i don't think i'd want to try skiing it.... i might take a plastic sled though!
