Your truly was in the Ravine yesterday. I was climbing the ice, but that part of the season is almost over.

Snow depths at the base of the Main Curtain were over 10 feet in drifts of wind hardened snow. The Main Curtain is the centermost ice cliff, about 40 feet tall at most.

I snagged about 150 feet of cheek tracks on the way back down...Wahooooo!

Nice shot! Excellent view. Gives you a great cross view of Hillmans and shows the relationship of the ravine to Hillmans.

We could make a T4T banner and stash it up there. Where any of us goes it, put the banner up..the text? That's easy:

Here's a zoom in shot I took Friday April 18/03 at 4:33pm after a short jaunt up to the right up Wildcat, close to the top of the Snowcat Triple. Was able to zoom a bit closer than the web cam. I'm sure if anyone was still in the ravine, I would have been able to capture them.

Fun shot to take if your passing by Pinkham on a clear mid afternoon instead of  about not being able to go.
