What have all you people found out?,, what predictions have you guys and girls heard?
IT better :snowflakes: alot......
if not the :chicken: is going to be pissed..
Dreaming of :snowflakes: :snowflakes:

I heard tons of snow for Feb/March, Farmers Almanac if I remember correctly?

If there's any snow, there will be ice...that's a fine thing...
if there's lots of snow there will be lots of ice, that's a very fine thing...
so, I see it this way:
Either I will have a dilemma winter or I will have an exquisite dilemma winter.
Win, win!

I've heard that we were supposed to get a lot of snow this year. I however have to see it to believe it.I've been let down to many times in the past. So, for now I will just have to pray for tons of snow.

A little snow, A lot of snow - It's still snow and you'll be able to find it. You just may have to drive further for the good stuff.
At this point I'd settle for sliding on ices shavings a bunny slope.

The only real way to be sure we will get a lot of snow is to have an ULLR sacrifice...
We will burn skis and snowboards in a bonfire at Hunter Mountain in mid-November to appease the god of winter sports... We will also have a live band and drink many many many shots of tequila..
All hail ULLR!!!!

It was actually a below normal snow total for the Mt. Washington area. Not sure about the rest of the New England mountains, but i think it was a lower then normal year for most mountains. The funny thing is that it was a higher then normal snow total for southern new england. I have a theory that the resorts up north have a better year when it snows down south (boston area) then when it snows up north.
We got hammered in the Catskills of NY... A friend of mine went up to Tremblant and said he wished he stayed home.. Said the snow was better south... wierd...

I know southern VT had a decent year last year, Killington got blasted by a few 2+ foot storms. However, I think the just barely came up over average. Northern VT didn't get anything but Jack and Hsit, and Jack left town...

Up here at sugarloaf, last year was the lowest snow total in 10+ years, all the storms went south...
I think your theory is right NHski
Profitwise: The ski resorts would rather have a foot of snow in the city than on the mountain. People see snow, they think skiing.
