Ahhhhhhhhhhh !!
7th Graders are going crazy this last stretch of the year.
Some are out of control, and with different teaching styles from the various teachers, with lower expectations, its hard sometimes....
Time to put on my Captain Kicka** hat and tighten the chain.
Its Tuesday and feels like Friday .......
(sorry, just needed to rant for a bit... )

*Steelyard Blues
(1973 comedy crime film starring Donald Sutherland, Jane Fonda and Peter Boyle. It concerns the lives of a group of misfits trying to find a happier life against the norms of society. Sutherland plays an ex-con with a passion for figure-eight stock car racing while embarrassing his brother who is a very respectable member of society. Fonda plays a prostitute with an off-on relationship with Sutherlands character. The film is notable for reprising the Fonda-Sutherland pairing of Klute.)

Yeah, school can't be over soon enough, but as long as there's snow, the week seems more bearable!

don't attack me when i say this, but I understand how they feel. We've only got 24 days left till summer and I am so ready for school to be out. I have this one assmonkey of an english teacher who keeps assigning these journal entries where we have to write extensively about our thoughts on certain passages of books we're reading. Books like Alice in Wonderland. Ugh. It's his own way, or so it seems, of making us do the class discussions he should be facilitating in class at home.
I'm having so much trouble concentrating on anything. T4T and BCA are so distracting. I run a website and I'm supposed to be updating to a new server now, but Linux doesn't want to read my USB drive and instead of troubleshooting I'm posting about it here. :sigh:
welcome, steepandfluffy.

yeah, i know. but one thing that annoys me when people say that: it still sucks from time to time right here and now. I realize there are bigger problems in the world and that mine are small and life is easy now and all that. heard it all before. but that doesn't prevent it from being relevant to me right now. if you all don't care, fine, but don't tell me that it doesn't matter because im not an adult.
phew, glad I got that out.

Ya it sucks in relation to your experiences with life. Peoples opinions are often based on personal relativity.
Like trail ratings at resorts, are relative to the rest of the mountain. A blue on the east, is quite a bit different than a blue at JH or Snowbird, and Black and double black are very different due to their relative terrain.
So unless your skiing at that person's metaphoric ski area, its hard to talk trail difficulty using green circles, blue squares, and black diamonds...
But seriously I look back, which isn't too long ago, and shake my head for what I took for granted, although I don't blame myself because it was the only thing I could do. Once again, personal relativity.
