I was going to poop you until I saw what you were really asking. Your guess is as good as any. Depends a lot on the track of Monday's storm. The difference between 3 feet of :snowflakes: and 5" of :raining: could be the difference between sliding in late May and not sliding at all.

TOO SOON!!!

In determining the longevity of sliding in TUX, there is no magic formula or cyrstal ball. Much depends on 'how much' snow you desire to slide upon. I, myself, have frequently skied last tracks in TUX in early JULY. Mind you, it may only be a spit of snow measuring 15-20 feet wide to 100+ feet long. Do a search on my TR's from recent years and you can see the pics.

The truth is, it's all relative and very variable.

Depends on when it stops snowing.

May?! I'm counting on this snow to get me to my FOURTH July in a row! Think BIG!

I'm only at 1275' in elevation here and we've had snow ALL DAY LONG and it's on the edge of whiteout conditions continuously. So far 7" on the deck as of 6:30PM and they're saying this will keep up right through Tuesday AM and THEN start winding down! :D

At this rate we're looking at close to 28" by Tuesday mornin'........ might be less due to snow compaction. Who knows? Let's wait and ski! ;)

Just heard Jay will stay open at least till the 29th! :D:cool::D:cool::D

This snow should help the late-season snowpack if it doesn't turn to rain.

After several of hours of frozen ice pellets and freezing rain on the summit hourly reports, it's changed back to snow and blowing snow. Winds still clocking 90+ mph! Radar picture looks like all snow up there, and behind it, over NY and northern VT. Crossing my fingers.

Yesterday, it was all snow all morning long at Pinkham and on the mountain (and a fine, powdery snow it was), but all rain from about the Dana Place Inn to North Conway. The minor difference in elevation was huge.
