So it looks like I'll be able to make a trip up Easter weekend Going to be camping Friday night at hermit lake at one of the tent platforms. I remember at one of the Ravine sites on the web there was forecasts for the mid levels but can't seem to find it as well as backcountry trail conditions. I want to keep an eye on things to be properly prepared for the night. Any one know where that forecast might be located. Also are there decent trail maps to be had at Pinkham Notch or should I think about ordering something online?

P.S. Subject should read Easter Weekend.
www.mountwashington.org has backcountry trail conditions on the right side bar of its "weather" page, and conditions at the huts. As far as mid-levels, you can keep track of the temps using the auto road vertical profile, to get a sense of general trends. But keep in mind that a sunny, 40-degree day in the bowl will feel a lot warmer, as it's one huge solar collector. Pinkham has all manner of trail maps, and most of the trails are well marked and signed.
