Oaks Gulf...

Anybody been?
Isn't it on the other side of the ridge from Left Gully?

I here it's not a very steep shot but VERY remote and uncrowded...

Oaks gulf is a great place to ski! Although nothing has the diversity of Tucks, it has different "shots" up to 40-45% pitch and nill traffic. It is one of the 5 major ravines to ski(Tucks,the Great Gulf, Gulf of Slides,Ammonoosuc Ravine,and Oaks).Access? Go up over Hillman's, a mile or less along ridge and drop in. Or,go up from cog railway base rd terminus up Monroe brook(Ammonoosuc Ravine).DO NOT GO IN BY DRY RIVER(RT. 302)!Wait till May, take the Auto Rd. and hike DOWN....SE to Oaks.Any questions?
