that first clip at the start of episode 1, where the boarder triggers that slab, really highlighted for me the dangers i'm getting myself into with this bc skiing thing. really eye opening.

Thank You so much. There was so much to learn from that. A must watch!
The mental toughness of sam, and the ability to stay cool through the whole tradgedy was very profound to me. I think, a less mentally disciplined person would have definitely died.

I just watched A Dozen More Turns and it is such a great video. I sent it to a group of my ski friends and if they don't watch it, I will force them to do so.

Definitely watch the youtube video too. It's footage of the guy who barely made it a couple of years after. Pretty amazing.
