Training money

Hello, all. I was wondering if anybody knew about any program that give money grants for training. I think I'm at the point where I I could definitely benefit from some pro training and perhaps some new skies. Any ideas?

Hey there, I'm new to this board too. But I know you can get grants if you fit the requirements. Several companies put out grants on a yearly or quarterly basis. One that I know of for sure is from balance bar, the award up to $10,000 for mind/body pursuits. Check out the info on thier website. good luck and enjoy your new toys! ;)

I was looking into Balance Bar too to sponsor an event... they don't do that but this is what I found. (http://www.balance.com/grants/rules.asp) Might be just what you are looking for.

Thank you so much for your help. I check out the link and it looks very easy to apply for this thing. I was expecting a lot of complicated forms to fill out and such. But it looks like it's just the essay.
