If anyone has the cahones to be high up or on top of a mountain at dawn tomorrow morning(supposed to be coldest dawn this winter!).... look to the east and you'll likely see a Superior Mirage and quite possibly an inverted one at that! So you look at some peaks in the distance to the East, they'll appear to float above the actual mountains and depending upon conditions, inverted...as in, upside down! Check it out! Nature's wonders and mysteries at work here!
If you do happen to look for it... please take pictures! I'm gonna skin my local peak to see if I can spot one.
edit: for those that want a primer on mirages..... http://www.islandnet.com/~see/weather/elements/mirage1.htm
