It looks like we'll get our storm, monday.
We just got 3-4" of snow last week, but this time, it's 24-30" that are predicted here, on the US maps :

This would just be the largest storm ever on Montreal :) :) :) :) The century's storm of 1971 got about 20" of snow with almost hurricane winds (so drifs of 40-60"). All was shut down for almost a week. There was a storm of 28" also, but it was less a problem due to less winds. If we get 30+ inches, this would be a historic record ! woohoo !
The New England will be a little bit less touched, but you should have great powder too and the forecast can be wrong like last time and you should get way more snow than predicted !

We picked 6" up to now and it's dumping enough hard. We should get a good feet here ... or may be more, but it's more in the townships that it's looking good ! I wouldn't be surprised to see 40+ inches at Jay and a couple other places in the wide area around.
At 9h15PM, at Owl's Head, they were already at 10" of snow... and it will fall all night long and all day long tomorrow. Generally Jay Peak get (at least) 1,5x more snow than Owl's Head, so make your counts :) :) :) :)

Jay is reporting 36+" of new snow. It hasn't even come close to stopping yet, either.

Jay Peak is now at 40" at 8h02 !!!!!
Sutton was at 26" at 6h this morning. Now it's way over 30" and it will fall like that all day long.
I guess Jay Peak will easily pass the 50", may be 60".
Here we're at 10" actually and it's dumping hard. Really nice to see, even though we're on the top north of the storm. There is almost nothing fallen in the north unfortunately, but all the mountains in the townships are buried under more than 2 Feet of snow !!!!! waaahooooooooooooooo !
Where is the "Nor-Easter graemlin" ??? :D

Hey Frank -- did they cancel school or something? Good to see you around these parts. Enjoy the :snowflakes: ! lol el-bagr ! No, school finishes tomorrow, though ! (ish... I should be studying, me, not on the web lol !)
The big rush is almost over now... finally !
The weather maps for 84h are now available. I have good and bad news. The good news : it could fall an amazing amount of precipitation wedn/thur. The bad ones : not sure if it will be some snow...
At least, the peaks like Mt Wash should receive it in snow, I guess (I hope !!)
Here is a look of the eastern part of the map. Not sure, but I think that the amounts don't count the snow still remaining to fall today. (notice the serious red in the Mt Washington range !!)
