looks like another rainy weekend on the mountains i think ill hold off on going up.mabie go tenting on sat night(w/ some tuckerman ale)..p.s. asked santa for some crampons not friggen tampons

One of the downsides of working at a mountain is working in the rain whether in the mood for it or not. OTOH, the snow is always really sweet in the rain so Saturday was some of the best skiing!

I totally agree -> rain = no crowds and no ice/hardpack. The snow is usually nice, relative to what I ski on a lot of the time.

The biggest negative is that my ski cronies tend to cancel or drop out early. :( Visibility can be the other issue.
