I was planning on another trip to NH since my December ice trip was a bust. Realizing it has been an odd winter, and knowing this is still early, any opinions on this year's conditions 1st week of April in Tucks? Huntington ice in April?

:happyhiker:That's a great time of year! Of course, the weather and/or avvy conditions could be awful, so a backup plan like skiing at Wildcat is a good idea. Whatever you pay for a ticket on one day your next day is always 29 dollars at Wildcat when you present your previous days ticket.
The dirtbag way=arrive early enough on Friday to ask folks leaving the Wildcat base lodge for their tix :D

Usually by April, the ice is well gone in Huntigton, i don't think it will be any different this year - although you never know. I'd plan on not ice climbing in april.
