This will be my first time experiencing tucks...I was wondering is there potential there for building back country kickers? I'm very experienced rider (12 years). Thanks.

Most times II've been there somebody puts a little jump up at the bottom of the ravine - built totally out of snow.

I've seen people drop the headwall many times - thats where it's at.
Sometimes following shortly after a huge :yardsale:

I have never dropped the headwall. :chicken:

Maybe one day...

There are plenty of natural features to huck, a kicker like the one you are invisioning would not work. You would be better off finding the right spot in the summit snow fields.

I've seen rangers knock kickers down too,,,

digging up high is not recommended as there may be instability that is triggered to release by the digging...that would be major bad Karma.

I have seen a number of kickers on the area of the rocks below the Chute....using a rock as part of the volume. Kid sized kickers seem to be ignored by rangers but the really big ones draw too much attention... happy medium :cooldog:
