Dave or M@: Just curious, how does the rating system work? I'm not whining, just noticed that others have 5 and haven't got as many posts, time here, whatever. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Gonna get insecure if it's cuz people like other people better than me!!!!!! Have to get therapy for the psycological trauma!!!!!!! May have to drink beer!!!! lol Have fun, be safe. Al :skistooge:

Wouldn't worry about it SkiStooge. Obviously most peeps gave you 5 helmets! Most have 4 or 5.
I'd be booking the psycologist if you had a 1 or 2 maybe when 20+ people voted so don't sweat it.
UBB allows a member to rate any member, once by the way.
Lets help out old Stoogie peeps! If you haven't voted, vote now and make his day! :cooldog:

Stoogie, I just gave you 5 helmets. If a couple more people vote a 5, you should be back up...
Don't worry stoogie, we still like ya!

The truth is Dave needs no rating. The fact that he built something that thousands use, many introductions have taking place, people have made new friends and some fallen in love. Thats rating enough.
Just my thought, but you are right - I voted for him.
Until today I never voted for anybody. Today all 5's. You're all great!

I'LL DRINK ONE TO YA! :beermug:
Marriage is what you make it.
Getting married didn't knock the ski days or beer days down much at all. Having kids on the other hand...
My matrimonal advice is this: "Take out the garbage." And it revolves around the fact that it's VERY easy to get pissed at someone for not taking the garabage out when it's obviously full... so when you catch yourself doing that, just take it out, and realize how easy it was to just take it out and not get pissed.

Bannick, an early and hearty congrats on your impending engagment.
To the good Doctor, I'd say have some hope dude. There's some good ones out there. And although we're still pre-kids, the Mrs. and I got in a combined 80 days of skiing last season (43 me, 37 her). Every year we've been married, we've been skiing more, not less. Joy! (Again, as M@ points out, children will no doubt impact these numbers -- at least until they can come along!)

The ski decline with children is only temporary, assuming your children inherit your ski genes. We ski more than we did in the prechildren years -> Us Mom's just get a little more cowardly.
BTW, be prepared to have your children rip past you.....
