I guess... First time for me. I know the area around there a bit, and with the course description, should be able to figure it out. I will try to get in touch with you, as the date gets closer.

Anyone else would be great too.

If I'm around in April, I plan to do the race solo, so stay in touch about race prep.

I did run the river last year the week after the race. I was very nervous about dumping, but it ended up not being that bad... Although I did go through a set of rapids backwards (not on purpose however). The river could be very tame this year if we don't get more precipitation soon... or it might not even be run-able!

I'll already be on the rockpile... thanks. Good luck and do a write up on the river run. I want to do that but never have and would like the beta.

Welcome Moham Meamocci!

Thanks for bring this one back.

A shout out to Tuckermen: DL is back and boy does he look fit. He confirmed that Inferno is on his agenda again.

The cover is deep, Ullr hasn't been napping too much and NE's best brewers are working on their Spring offerings......Best of Luck to all!

Yes, this year it's on Saturday the 18th; the original post on this thread was from '07.
I'm back in for this year - Mark and I will be defending our 2-person title. Once again I'll be doing the run, hike and ski and Mark the kayak and bike. Now that I know what to expect, training is going very well and I'm hoping to knock a good chuck of overall time off my legs.
If anyone's interested, there will be a large group of us up at The Season's by Attitash 3/27-3/29 for a "training weekend". All legs of the course will be done, weather depending of course. Plan right now is to do the run, kayak and bike legs on the 28th. Sunday the 29th being hike into the bowl and (hopefully) ski.
PM me if you'd like additional details.

RR - yup, hopefully DL doesn't fall sick again this year. Maybe the 2 of us can finish ahead of DL (as a solo!!).

As for beating David's time....it's a real goal, to be sure and I'm also sure he doesn't mind a bit that his times have become a goal setters objective. However, he was in really good form and not pushing it @Saddleback. He was pretty much always a smooth cyclist and he is looking way smooth on those skis.....I'd say you guys will have a good shot at it but don't ask me to come up with any odds.

Probably best to follow your plans for your prep and race and let the chips fall where they may.

If there's no NET team formed or if they don't need Race Day logistical help, I'd be pleased to help any T4T teams in the Ravine.

Oh yeah, I'm "picking on" Dave just 'cause he's so good and consistent, but of course you still do your own race and hopefully we keep contact. But if I'm close to him on the hike/ski...

Hey, do I hear a possible offer of support? I think I'm all set with getting my gear into the ravine. But if you're gonna be around Friday night stop by Flatbreads during the packet pick-up. I'll be offering free pizza and beer to any support help:)
