Hey matt, maybe you should think about adding some sort of roll call forum to the MBs...It would be cool to meet some fellow T4Ters

anyway, ill try and start even though not going up till 5/3...

The most honorable Dave (SkiCDave) runs this board. But I like the "when are you going" idea.

Dave: Do you have access to the user-base used by ultimateBB ? If so, I can help you setup such a "when are you going" system. I'm pretty comfortable in almost any language.

Personally, I like the "Percentage you're going" idea. That's what I've done the past few years for my trips, and it works out pretty good. I personally assign a probabilty to each person based on their response. This year I didn't really ask anyone else to go... and the year before the weather threw my numbers to the wind.

Next year, I have consigned my self to defining a window, and letting work know "I'm taking 2 days off in April, I have no idea which 2" kinda of thing. So when the weather looks like it's gonna be nice, I'll wake up and go.

Actually I've been thinging about that, but thought more along the lines of a calendar like the TTO Board (http://www.tropictravelonline.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php) uses. See here (http://www.calsnet.com/ttocaribbean) . Then members can then check out who is going on various weekends etc. Entering dates, probabily of going etc would be entered from a form accessed from your profile page.

I'm been dipping into the ubb code all over the place as you can see so it should be easy to implement. Thanks for the offer however.

I also think we should broadcast an 'offical T4T channel' for those of us with radios. I've been using and telling people to go to channel 9-14 when there at tucks. Good way to hook up with others on the board when there.

I like the concept. As for me, probability-wise for tomorrow (Sat 4/26): Mentally: 100%. Reality: (Due to the fact of my piece-a-crud car had the utter audacity to act up just before the weekend) somewhere between 0% and 5%. Still seeking a willing soul to play taxi tomorrow.(Sat) (Can't go Sunday, darn it. Got to be a day trip this weekend). So I think I'll probably end up doing homework tomorrow instead (back in college as a Vis-com major at age 44!). Would have liked to go, though. Guess I'll just head up next Fri and stay till Sat evening. Hope to see some of you then. Have fun, be safe, play nice. Al
