Oh no bigger peeps. Kate and I are heading out this weekend, hopefully to Saranac/Lake Placid area. Might hike up Whiteface and try to make a snowball or something as well as check out the dying leafs.

Think we'll be at Fish Creek Pond again in the TMC club vehicle :teardrop: . My must not forget the blankies!!

Pray not only for :snowflakes: , but for :sun: to keep our :bum: :bum: warm.

Anybodies in the area this weekend? Let us know!

Photos :camera: for sure!

Extra points if you get a photo :camera: of you with your snowball. Don't you think you should bring your skis? ...Just in case? :happyhiker: And, bring a slopemeter - just in case you find anything measurable...

Have fun... :teardrop:

Let us know how it is...the ski dude and I have Whiteface penciled in for a trip in December :skiplow: :skiplow: We've never been there before. I've heard some of their trails are really steep - so we need YOU to document their steepness so we know what we will be in for.

Ha! No not poking fun at the 'Leafs'. I'm no hockey/baseball fan so anything I say is purely coincidental.'(hey notice there are no hockey or b-ball graemlins?).

Maybe I should have said Check out the dying leaves on the trees. I appologize to those severly affected.

Mumster! Yes do mark Whiteface on your Calendar this year. It has some fantastic steep mogul runs up top. Have a blast on Cloudspin!

SkiCdaveramma:

I am SO envious of you watching leafs fall - There is nothing like the Northeast US the second weekend in October. I used to visit New England every year at this time.

Maybe you will bring back a leaf graemlin?

Thanks for the pointer for Cloudspin.
