The Mount Washington Observatory has just launched their new webcam located atop Wildcat Mountain, offering excellent real time views of Tuckerman Ravine. Check it out here (http://mountwashington.org/cam/ravines/large.php) :skicool:

Just an update on the webcam located atop Wildcat. Apparently it was hit by lightning March 26, and they are still trying to troubleshoot and replace the wireless connection. Basically killed the availability of the cam for the season up to this point. Lets hope they manage to get it working again before all the snow is gone.

Still offline though... :( but on one level... perhaps just as well :D

There is a modicum of truth in that. Sometimes it's nicer to start by NOT seeing the weather conditions before you drive up.lol Have fun, be safe. Al

That sure gives a pretty good idea of the current snow pack, now if only I could trust that Al Sahhaf character with real-time on-site snow conditions...

Hey skilas, did you read the paper today about Al-Sahaf? He tried to surrender, but the American solders refused to take him... poor guy. He's only wanted, but by a tv station or something.

YEAH! what a guy. This was my favorite:

A website has been set up in his {Sahhaf} honour and merchandise sporting the slogans "My feelings, as usual, we will slaughter them all" and "Our initial assessment is that they will all die" are doing a roaring trade.

Even President George Bush admitted he was hooked on the minister's daily 'briefings'.
Al Sahhaf dot com (http://www.welovetheiraqiinformationminister.com/) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well skilas,

Actually you might notice that Al-Sahaf's reports on T4T are similar to his quotes/reports while the poor sole was in Iraq... except they pertain to Tucks (somewhat sort of). Of course we don't pay him as much... well actually we don't have a gun to his head either...
