Day Trip:
Probably 2 or 3 runs.

As for How High: Know your limits, Climb as high as you feel you can. Keep an eye out for hazards
on the route you plan to ski down.

Yeah, 2 or 3

How High? depends on conditions and my energy level and my freak level. Always keep looking down so you know what you are in for.

An ideal run would be something like...

Summit>Upper Snowfields>Chute>Bowl>GrabABeerOnLunchRocks>Little Headwall>Lower Snowfields>PottieStopatHoJosIfItDon'tSmellTooBad>S herburne>Pinkham>ShannonDoorsPub(Jackson) for Beers>Bed

Always (if conditions allow) at least to the top of the bowl.

One tip I'd add to the "ideal run" is, be aware that it is an easy walk or ski across from the top of the left gulley over to the top of Hillmans. This provides a great option to avoid the walk down from the bowl to HoJos (especially later in the season when the little hadwall is closed)

So Ideal Run:
Climb to Snowfields, ski down into the bowl via center headwall (my favorite in the bowl, the steepest smooth pitch, intimidating to navigate to). Climb back up left gulley, Head over to the Hillman's side and ski Duchess. (It looks like you could jump and land on Hojos). Ski out Sherburne (A Must! the only hiking should be uphill!)
