Scorpio: There's the Hammock Hut. That's on Third. There's Hammocks 'R' Us. That's on Third, too. You got Put Your Butt There. That's on Third. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. Matter of fact they're all in the same complex. It's the Hammock Complex, down on Third.
Homer: Oh, the Hammock District?

You know there's a little place called Mary Ann's Hammocks. The nice thing about that place is that Mary Ann gets in the Hammock with you.
Yes sir, Mr. Scorpion.
Don't call me that. It's Mr. Scorpio, but don't call me that either. Call me Hank.

Haven't skied that exact area but have skied the CC's. What I hear about that area is that is is smaller, gentler, with more glades and less open bowls. Still avalanche terrain. The lodge looks very comfy. Want to go there with the wife this winter.
Couloir Magazine's current issue (the Hut issue) did an article on the exact area you are asking about. Check it out.

The Chic Chocs don't exist. Someone just made it up.
Seriously though. PM me if you want me to prove they don't exist.
In Reality I really don't know much about the Lodge other than it's new, posh, the pics look real nice and other what you have already posted online and the article that Some Good is referring to, that about all I know. Oh yeah and they have this really cool bombardier snow cat from back in the 50's that I want to drive. And one of their brochures has some guy jumping off a pile of snow with snowshoes on. I think this is a segment of winter sports that is often overlooked. Snowshoe high jumping. Yup you can do that there too.
edit: I just checked out you link and it appears they have a new snow cat. Pity. I want to drive this one too.
