I'm sure they've had more rain since then too.

:skierfrown:

On the upside though, it looks like RR won't be missing much of an end to the season and will be spared from becoming envious while reading TRs describing great conditions in the Ravine.

Bring on 06/07.

True. Chute looks like it still had a line on Sat. I'm more concerned about the damage since then.

They closed tux trail, which is usually the sign of the beginning of the end.

Now i get it. Super secret trail? I bet i can bribe someone at the visitors center to tell me where the trialhead is.

I just discovered this site a few months ago when I decided to take my first trip to Tux. You guys have a lot of names of places or phrases that you paraphrase. For example it took me the whole morning at work to figure out what GOS was. Anyway, Thanks M@

You're right - as a relative newbie to this site myself and as someone who doesn't often visit chat rooms, I also found it was like learning a new language.
Sorry fer encouraging Skilas's hecklin ya, but it's all in good fun as you definitely understand. :p
Welcome

Sorry Diddler, I couldn't resist messin' with you on semantics. If you read that sentence again you will see that RR must be a who, not a what... couldn't help myself...

However, I think what I said about RR is fairly true :)

I have put out an APB on Rob McKenna, who obviously has decided to take a driving tour of New England this week. As soon as he is found I will have him deported back to Northern England, or shipped to Texas where I here they could use a few drops.

Bollix, I say! No god worth its salt would be offended by naked guy's joyous expression of freedom. If anything, it was the singular episode of pure ecstasy in ideal spring conditions and weather in an otherwise pretty dismal season. Reps to nekked guy fer seizing the grand opportunity during one of the very few available windows this spring. I'm certain Ullr was pleased by and will bestow his benevolence upon those who appreciate nekked guy's spontaneous manifestation of the true spirit of free glisse.

Rob McKenna was picked up in York ME, after over 12 inches of rain fell, leaving him stranded on the median strip of Rt 1.

The clouds were so pleased that he was taking time off and visiting other places that they felt a region wide deluge was in order. He flew out of Logan International on a 5:52p flight and the sun was first reported at 6:24p in Harvard Square.

I was over in GOS that day, far from the incident. But the rapid deterioration of the ravine has to be explained somehow.
By the way does any one have any Pics of Airplane gully since the rain?
