Best indicator of when to ski is......???

HELP!!! I'm trying to figure out when the conditions are going to be "stable" for skiing this year. I check the avalanche bulletins and reports from Mt Wash daily. I realize that these are 2 of the better ways but I am looking for any other input you all may have. I ski 5 days a week but I really have to plan in advance a few days for Tucks. I've skiied Tucks in the past (about 5 years back now) and totally enjoy the experience. I just want to try to get in there several times this year and want to start as early as I can. I've found the most reliable ski condition information on this board right here. As spring approaches, people start going and a lot of them report right here.
