View Full Version : Attitash Grand Summit "Hike & Stay" $69
They did this last year too - it's a pretty good deal, and the hotel is pretty nice. We stayed there in 2002 (I think) for a week. Outdoor heated pool + hot tubs...
(This was in the sliding on the cheap news letter)

We were just looking at this 15 min ago M@ LOL
We still haven't book in anywhere. Our group is mixed across dates. But friends are book over in Blueberry Village at Attitash so we're still doing April 15th. Seems at Attitash they are just getting the place go to pots. No maintenance seems to be done anymore... wads of TP keep the drafts out, decks are falling off.... oops! off topic! The Summit is pretty close and looks like our best bet so far. How is the pool and such there? Their site doesn't show much...
Anywhere else you have been there that is decent? I think we have been spoiled in our travels. :D

Hummm there might be a way to get the misses in the Ravine afterall.

It's pretty nice. Very "Frank Loyd Right" type stylings in the lobby, and the pool is very nice. It's "outdoors" but has an indoor entrance. Two big hot tubs out in the pool area too.
We stayed in a room with a little kitchenette + one masterbedroom. It had a fold down queen bed in the main living room part of the room two - worked perfect for 2 couples and one small child.
The staff was excellent - had a blender in our room in 5 min flat.
The biggest draw for us was "slopeside" - but the only slopeside you're gonna get for tux is HoJos.

What I did like about Blueberry Village is we were slopeside at Attitash... gives you the option of doing laps up the slopes just outside the condo on days when not at Tucks. Not sure how well Attitash will be doing by mid April. I see they are currently 70% open.
Depending on what happens by then, I may have to do my skiining up Wildcat one day and just hike up at Tucks with some beers for Steve and the boys and take some shots and video. Got to start going earlier in the year!
Kate's checking out the Stonehurst Inn right now, the Kearsarge Inn, the Issac Merriil and the Cabernet Inn.

Right at the foot of Pinkham Notch, 4* cuisine and ambiance baby, lots of charm.....they will make you a tasty boxed lunch if you ask.

My brother skied Attitash 2 days ago, he said the conditions were prity good everything that has had snow making during the year was skiable....then again as long as there is something that resembles snow he sais the skiing is great  He said wildcat is about the same conditions wise. The places will probably colse because there are no skiiers rather than no snow.
Im thinking of hiking up to Tux on the weekend of April 8th...Im trying to take it easy this year being I had back surgery last spring.
