Today is 100 days to Tuck's! Looks like it's going to be more of a party/climb weekend than a ski weekend. Seriously considering hanging them up after over 50 great days in the ravine (but then again, things could change in the next 100 days). In any event, summitting Monroe and Washington are in the plans for that weekend. And probably a few jello shots too! - SherpaKroto
Hey Sherpa:
Definatly gotta meet up. We are heading up on THURSDAY NIGHT. Hiking in the moonlight on an EMPTY trail.
If all else fails: I'm the guy with the silver helmet.
I'm also seriously considering just bringing innertubes instead of 30pnds of ski equipment.
And it's not party, it's Par-Tay.

SherpaKroto,
Sad to hear this may be your last run down Tucks although you have certainly done your
share. Would like to hook up with you this time to celebrate with some jello shots.
What day will you be going up? I will try and work my schedule so I can make it.
Been busy skiing. Still have not done any winter hiking yet. Leaving for Jackson Hole this
Saturday at 6 AM. Can't wait. My mind has been there for about two weeks already.
Talk later. Last years rookie, looking forward to turning journeyman!

Guys, My date may be up in the air (bummer), as I have a buddy coming to visit from 4/19-28. I tried to explain that it's Prime Time at Tuck's, but he wouldn't go for it. I will be up one of those weekends, hopefully still 4/26-28, but possibly the weekend before or after.
Paul - consider coming up on an overnight. I've been doing lots of winter hiking. Bagged (5) 4000 footers, including Washington so far. Heading up for the next 3 weekends, to make it 6 of 7 weekends!
M@ - party, Par-Tay. Names may change, but the hangover is still the same. Full moon is 4/26 - you timed it well! I am probably going to hike up on Friday night in the full moon
Hope to see you guys up there. I'm still working out the kinks to the Jello shots (what to make them in). I'm sure I'll have it down by then!

hey HEY SherpToe:
I like to head up Thur Night, with the "advance par-tay," like I said, get a full day in friday...
The past 2 years our friends Jill and Leslie hiked up FRIDAY night, arriving around midnight, finding us in bed. Last year, I woke up right next to them both and didn't even know they were there! They're both pretty fun, and you'd be doing yourself a flavour meeting them at the bottom and heading up in their company.

M@ - meeting up with hikers on a Friday night sounds like a good idea (avoids the 4:30 wake up call). Just be ready to party (oops - PAR-Tay) when we get there. I'm planning to head up with my brother (and whoever else joins us). He's planning a relaxing weekend with his head in the clouds, whereas I'm planning some climbing. PScopa could probably be joining me (I met him last year on the hike up - good story). I'll post here, or eMail you as time gets closer.

Hey sherpa. As far as the Jello shots are concerned that's a great Idea and I know what you can put them in. Go to any local sub shop and get those little plastic condoment containers that they usually put extra sauce or hots or whatever in. Don't forget the plastic lids too. They're perfect size for a nice shot. Just make sure you tape them up in case their bouncing around in your pack. Happy trailing!!
