Well it was a godsend, if not precisely lifesaving.

When I met a bunch of T4T people at KC's a few weeks ago I was planning a wedding. I'm a caterer and I had a wedding upcoming, this last Saturday. The subject came up as we discussed what we all did. I was short on staff and when Ski&ride mentioned that she had done some catering I jumped on it. I asked if she could work the 25th. She said she would have to check but probably she could.

Kfarrar said that he too might be available. And even that his wife might be available. Plummet go in on it as well.

So that night at KC's netted me four possible servers for a wedding that I was beginning to get desperate supplying servers, actually quite desperate. As it turned out Ski&Ride, Kfarrar, and Plummet all worked for me that evening and everything went great. If they hadn't I am not sure I would have had enough people. They were all great and are now on my list of possible servers.

Thank you Ski&Ride, Kfarrar, & Plummet!

And thankyou Dave for creating a site with such great people, I look forward to skiing with all of you!!

SkiLas - did the conversation of helping you serve come up after I left? :(

Thanks Skilas,

Wow! Recruiting! Never thought T4T would ever help out indirectly in the employment department.

I don't remember any talk of catering either - guess it was during the red sox game. Glad you found some recruits: Did they wear their goggels at the wedding?

SkiLas - did the conversation of helping you serve come up after I left? :( I guess it must have. seeing as you were sitting next to me, it seems unlikely that I could have talked to Ski&Ride about it without you hearing about it. Should I put you on my list too? you are already on my A list but my staff list could always use more people, though I usually don't do my own planning.

I was lucky that I didn't leave early, or I wouldn't have known about it either. It was a very nice party to work at, thank you SkiLas for organizing it so well. We got through all the pre-party issues without a hitch.
