We've gotten into the habbit (tradition?) of stopping for dinner at the Yankee Smokehouse on Route 16 and the intersection w/ Route 2 on our way home after Tucks. As they cater to Harley Biker guys they dont seem to care what you look like after a day of :happyhiker: and :skifemcool: :mtwashington: . Wondering what other places people recommend.

Love the Yankee smoke house! and went to the muddy moose once last year but I always seem to end up taking a cruse across 112 and stopping at the common man in Lincoln been there many times fighting over who is going to drive home lol!

Only time when I was there this past easter my buddy and I had dinner at HorseFeathers I believe in Montgomery Center. A littel pricey, but dam tasty I might say. Food was prepared nicely, good portions and hot! I hate when I get food and it is just warm. Bums me out. Has good beer on the taps too. Just my 2 bits.

Woodstock Station / Woodstock Inn*** / Woodstock Brewery: All one, all excellent. Note *** as in "three star".
Horse Feathers in North Conway: Super!
Moat Mountain House, North Conway: Nice veggie burger, but a serious beefburger! Good things on tap!
Margarita Grille (383-6556; $-$$ formerly Margaritaville just beyond the Red Parka, on Rte. 302, in Bartlett: Margaritaville was my spot of choice; the change has not changed that!!

Hmmm, I usually just drive home. :hottub: The joy of living fairly close. lol Have fun, be safe. Al :skistooge:
The Moat is also a pretty nice stop. House-Brewed beverages, and lots of hearty pub-fare on the bar side. There's a more formal dining side as well, but I'm usually in the mood for the pud-side.

We stopped at the EMS store on the way home and asked a local for a recommendation for a good place to get a decent sandwick. She told us to go to Horsefeathers, a couple blocks south on the left. Her recommendation was right on. We had the hottest chicken wings we ever ate and chased them with Tuckerman Ale. The Reubens were top-notch as well. :snowboarding:
HorseFeathers is very nice. Live music, big Fat comfy leather couches upstairs.
And yes, Tuckerman Ale, the beverage of choice after the Ravine of Choice.

I've had some fine din din's at the Red Fox Inn in Jackson.
For apre-ski :beermug: , snacks and fine toons... try the Shannon Door Pub north of Jackson. They boast "The Best Pub Pizza in New Hampshire". Is Pub pizza different than other pizza? Sorry I don't have any :pizza: photos like :ma:
How about leftover dehydrated Mountain Chili in the parking lot of Pinkham Notch...

Wow, M@, that pizza and :beermug: did it for me -Mr. Pizza in Gorham is where I'm going next time I'm up.
Dave, have any graemlins of obese skiers?
The year I took that picture was a ThursdayHikeUp year. I called Mr.Pizza (603-466-5573) about 30min from Gorham (on my way to Pinkham), and picked it up on my way through. Met my bud at Pinkham and we assembled the packs and ate pizza in the downstairs packing room. Thats where I took this picture.
