Any Snow Left

Is there any snow left in tucks.Also if anybody has recent pictures that would be great! Thanks for any help,

hey im wondering the exact same thing... since the webpage hasnt been updated in about a month.. i have no clue how the ravine looks and if its worth going. if theres a good amount of skiable snow left, im heading up this sunday, july 1. if anyone wants to go im goin, alone... soooo i need people to show up so my mom doesnt get worried that a bear is gonna eat me... anyways ..

Not much is happening on the site lately including any updates on conditions, as the season has pretty much ended. Skiing at this time of the year is pretty extreme and only a few dare-devils go at this time of the year. This is 'no fall skiing' season as there are no runout areas covered in snow. Falling means sliding into the rocks below which can be fatal.

i skied the ravine july 6. a few hundred yards of snow. more than you might think. watch for undermining water and such, but it can be done. much fun! not crowded!

I was in the ravine on Sunday July 29th, and there was still snow at the bottom of the headwall.

some die hards are still skiing in tucks. they have posted reports on the 'no bull ski reports' at the firsttracksonline.com web page. the link below leads to various summer posts about tucks, most recently the 1st and 5th of august. sick *******s.

imagine sking once per month year round in new england? has this been done? i'm sure it has, but any body out there have first hand accounts?

I skied again in the ravine on Aug 5 which now means I have skied every month except for september which is going to be difficult. Oct is easy as Killington opens then. A close friend of mine, who has skied each month except aug and sep, says he has heard of a group who has skied each month one way or another. In the ravine, the other day, there was only about 60 feet of snow with some undermining underneath. It won't last long now. I saw one other person with skis. If anyone has ideas on finding September skiing in eastern North America, please advise!

I'm gonna have to settle for posting to this board once a month for the whole year.

A friend hiked Tuckerman last weekend, and said he saw no snow.

Correction: He now says there was a little snow in the bowl.

Well if I thinking right killington made snow in sept last year a a few people skied it right?If you don't count man made snow then I doubt u have a chance at every month thing.

The Mount Washington Valley cam at http://www.alpinezone.com/skiing/nhskicams.htm shows the amount of snow as of 8/7.
