Nice pix for you both !
I'm eager to see the place white like that and have a sticker "those skis have climbed Mt Washington" ;)
Skiis count as boards. And you get to use 2 stickers if you want.
Thanks M@ I was just about to say that...
We gave out two stickers for skiers...
And a second round of thanks to DMC for being Johnny on the spot and sending me like 14 of those stickers for all the folks in my crew who were there that day.
It's good to go with DMC, you get stickers. I've been into stickers for a while, mostly just to keep them in a drawer, but things like R/C airplanes and kegs and ski helmets need good stickers.
I still have some more... If anybody want's em let me know...
It got too snowy to give them out.. And we we're too exausted after the sweet-sweet riding that weekend to really hang..
We refused to give any stickers out unless we could put them on the board ourselves - the last thing i wanted use to see sticker backings all over the place...

I love stickers. The back window of my Jeep is well tagged. I could probably do a trade for some Crabbe Mountain Stickers. If anything having Crabbe written on your board could be a great conversation starter.
JJ(or anybody else) - Email @
doug@Powderhound.org
and I'll send out some stickers...
No problem...
BTW: I need Elwoods snail mail address, send it to M@Sheppard.net email. I got 2 floyd Disc 1's and he got 2 floyd disc 2's. And I'm a bozo for not finding time to unSHN them and listen to them yet.

Sorry about the mix up... :)
The Wife scored a single ticket to the Dave Matthews concert on tuesday at the Tweezer center in MASS. I am jealous, but she is a much bigger DMB fan than I. I just gotta make sure I properly bank that night out for a ski day later in the season.

Yes, at the last (and probably final) DMB show I went to, halfway through the first set, I felt splashing around my feet. The drunk moron behind me (tweeter center, 1/2 way up the seats or so) felt it wasn't necessary (or possible maybe, in his state)to go to the bathroom to urinate. I confronted him, he ran, and while chasing him, I got grabbed by the security guards.
The idiot factor was high.

DMC, have you seen, "Under the Table and Drumming" the DVD from Beauford where he goes into some of specifics of his stuff with DMB?
Yes I have... It's incredible!!!

No offense taken on the frat rat comment DMC. My fraternity brothers and I used to pound on the DMB suckers. I also like to listen to DMB from time to time, but would never be caught at a show. I would go see Beauford if he participated in another Superjam though.

ARGH. Me know that REAL music die at end of 80's hair band thing. No real music since. Me still have jeans and concert shirts and stuff from the greatest era that has ever graced the planet. lol (true though!) OK, Have fun, be safe. Al :skistooge:
so "Crystal Planet" was a lousy CD? And you're telling me that Natalie MacMaster ain't a musician? And that Dolly Parton's ongoing return to her Bluegrass roots with original and historic songs is less than sheer mastery of the idom? Excuse me, but BB is still recording and touring.
The music never died!
Aligator Records is not alone in finding, supporting and presenting fine new talent...Thanks Charlie!
drums, master? Two words, one man: Jeff Campitelli

ARGH. Me know that REAL music die at end of 80's hair band thing. No real music since. HA HA - too funny...
All I know is THANK GOD - Nirvana killed "hair Bands"..
And RR - Don't get me started - my drumming influence run deep and old... Carter is just one of my influences.. Campitelli is a great drummer... But I'm not really into Satriani..
looking for more than a time keeper...
looking for more than a sympathetic collaborator....
looking for mastery and the ability to apply it as a member of the whole....
set the way back machine for some Loose Blues...
your stick man on this oddessey: Philly Joe Jones
and yes, the DMB is the whole package...great individuals, great instrumental synergy, and vocal mastery!
Don't know if any of you say this... But I'd rescend the DMB ban for this one...
Still a rumour at this point...
