Not really sure how I found this:

http://amcstore.outdoors.org/AB1805000Store/images/sv-pnpa-tuckermanpatrec-st.jpg

But it's wicked kewl, lunch rocks, bluebird, and I have a rip on my snow pants. I patched my snowpants with a Magic Hat patch a few months ago.

If I ever get one of the hydration backpacks people are sporting these days I'll pu this patch on it.

So anyhow, I'm ordering a couple. $4 a pop.

Kewl patch. I have a slightly different one proudly displayed on my pack too. It's the more traditional 'badge' style patch, but still has the ravine, and I think the HOJO's cabin in the foreground...

Man oh man do people on the LCC ski bus notice those things. "Oh man, you've skied Tuckermans? I always wanted to go when I lived back east, never made it.." The Jay Peak and ADK 46r patch get a lot of attention too, but not like Tuckerman Ravine! People are blown away when I tell them in my opinion that a lot of the lines on Mt Washington are just as difficult, or technical as most of the lines here. (just not as tall of course) I guess you have to go to the Ravine to truly know... Therefore, we are blessed.

Here's to Tuckermans! :beermug:

They oughta tweak the design of the patch a bit, it looks like it reads: Ruckerman Ravine.

How would be suprised how many people have asked me if Ruckerman Ravine is near Tuckerman Ravine.

Also, any chance that the TM in the bottom corner is Toni Matt?

Or Truckerman Ravine... would look good on a nice mesh hat.

Hmmm..... this gets me thinking.... perhaps a NEW embroidered patch design should be created.

Here I was hoping it was some sort of thing you put on your arm to cure snow withdrawl....

When I saw the thread I thought you were posting depressing pictures of the small patch of snow left in the ravine after all that mild weather.
