I've got the weekend free, and the only tempting plans involve working on a boat. (Read WORKING, not SAILING)

Saturday Weather is "Chance of late day shower" and 66deg high.

No moonlight, so I'm not considering a friday night hike.

There's gotta be a few turns left in the most excellent of seasons.

Anybody know if there is enough snow left to try to make a few runs  on Saturday the 31st of May?

I'm coming from Boston, but others would make the trek from Ithaca. :happyhiker:
thx, Sam

Baldwin: I'm thinking about going. Not expecting much more than a few "token" turns though.

thx, Sam I made it up Tuesday...Left Gully had snow up to the top of the Hourglass and you could still ski back into the Bowl. Not too much else left. At least the surface was nice, as that was my only trip this season. Oh for 1997 again...

I have no good excuse for not going... went to Boston to see some friends I hadn't seen in a while, almost had a couple people talked into going with me, and next thing I know I'm waking up at 9am on their couch. Oh well.

Looks like a caretaker took a photo. Hard to get an idea of the snow covereage from it:

The weather was sunny :sun: till 1:30 when the clouds rolled in :clouds: . The rain started ~4:00 when we were almost done with the hike out :raining: . Decent skiing - I made 3 runs, and Jeremy and Arthur the Wonder Dog got 2 in! I'll post the pics :camera: tomorrow when I find the cabling...
