A few choice entries from the Washington Post's Style invitational. Contestants can take any word and add or change one letter and invent a new definition. I just wanted to share one or two with y'all
Decafalon (n.): The grueling event of getting through the day consuming only things that are good for you.
For our peeps in medicine:
Osteo****osis: A degenerate disease.
Dopeler Effect (sometimes spelled D'ohpeler): The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.
And we've all seen a few of these on the slopes:
Ignoranus: A person who's both stupid and an :bum: hole
