This is a followup to the suggestion that we have a practice weekend ski camping trip in GOS prior to deciding on a Katahdin trip this year. I could go Feb 3-5 or Feb 10-12. Plan on skinning up Friday night and out on Sunday, exploring above treeline Sat-Sun. Anyone else available those dates and interested?

Always up for a trip to GOS. I may be heading up there this weekend. Feb still too far out for me to decide for sure.

I thought Feb 3-5 was a Bush T4T gathering. I was planning to do that but I would prefer a GOS trip.

I will be skiing @the Kitty on my birthday the following w/e. That's a point of honor, can't let that slide. I would be okay with skinning up Saturday night to put up my tent and get in som GOS on Sunday.

I'm game for that! Might have a couple of nonT4T'rs joining too.

If the T4T Bush thing isn't happening, I am probably game.

I'll be @ Mt. Baker that week (hopefully watching the Seahawks after riding pow) and sailfishing in FL the next (yeah, life sucks). Looks like my 1/27 GOS trip will prob be rained out . Anybody w/ equip and training interested in GOS and/or Oakes (depending on coverage / stability) late Feb / early Mar post here or PM.

Baker is back in the snow cycle. This will be the first year in the last 10 that I will not make it to Baker. I am going to Fernie tho which is still good. I expect full trip report with photos from Baker.....

Yeah, I'm lucky to have a brother who lives in Bellingham. My only trip there last year was one of very few days in the whole season with 18" + of quality pow. It's been good, but my bro got rained out at whistler last week, so pray for low snow levels.
Enjoy Fernie - one of my all-time favorites. And if you haven't been there before, don't be put off by the T-bar in Cedar Bowl. I hate t-bars on a board, but it's a really short ride and well worth it to ride deep pow in the alders.

I'm a posible on the 4-5 weekend. I would be up for Sun for sure but I have a race scheduled for Sat. Next weekend I'm in Utah.

I'd pefer to do Oak if conditions are favorable. Got up in there last season and it was incredible!

I would like to get up there one of those weekends but both are on Rando Rally (http://timefortuckerman.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5472) days, and since I have been hyping them up I should make an appearance. I am available on weekends following that.

Not to thread-jack but just to throw this out there, I am thinking of doing Big Jay over the Feb 11/12 weekend. Since I will be up at Jay Peak for their rally, might as well hit Big Jay too.
