Found this article (http://www.exumguides.com/news/shishaski.shtml) while checking on a couple things. A ski mountaineering trip on Shishapangma (http://www.shishapangma.com/facts.html), the 14-th highest peak.
Those are some amazing people who accomplish trips like that.

One of those guys, Mark Newcomb, was an instructor for my level II course last month. Very unassuming guy- you'd never think he would be pulling off this kind of thing. He had some great slides to show of avy forecasting gone wildly wrong with Valdez heliski. If I had an extra $6500, I'd totally be up there sking with them this March.

Nice article. That's in a whole different league.
I don't know if that article was talking about the same route, but I reacll Shishapangma was the site of the avalanche that killed Alex Lowe and another climber 6 or 7 years ago.
A little more intense than a trip up to Tuck. :)

You do your Level II with AAI?
Mark, Rod, Ron, et al are great teachers/resources.
