Mountainfest / Backcountry Ski Festival

Has anybody been to either the Mountainfest or the Adirondack Backcountry Ski Festival, both organized by The Mountaineer in Keen, NY? What would be your comments on these events? Is anybody planning to go this year?

Been to the Ski fest.

I only go to the Dinner/slide show and do my own BC tours. If you are not familiar w/ the Daks, take a guided tour...they offer a TON of options. Very fun. I will be there this year, hopefully w/ sme other fromt this site.

I don't know the Daks at all. Who runs the best guide service up their. I'm waiting for enough snow to pile up to run backcountry PA. Just one 2 footer on top of what we go outa do er, but this warm spell is taking away my guiding opportunities.
