Boott Spur & Link

Hiked up Boott Spur trail and camped under a blue tarp S. of the trail (towards gulf of slides) friday p.m. What a ball breaker of a hike. Boott Spur Link from the spur down to HoJo's was steep as hell with snow on it below tree-line. A good day or overnight hike if you didn't have skis/ski boots. Was a little too much work for the amount of weight on board. Was pretty tough to hike from HoJo's to bowl and ski a few after coming down off the spur sat. a.m. Thank god I packed in beer. Skiing was great!!! Crowd was awesome. Managed to get out of bowl and back to lean-to's before the t-storm. Hope everyone had as much fun as we did.

Yes, We did have some problems coordinating our efforts. All and all it was a great hike and overnighter. It was just a lot more work then I had set out to accomplish. But very rewarding!!! The crowd at the bowl made it all worth while. Cheers and applause, but only if you earned it. All the info was right on and I am already looking forward to next year...
