sorry for all htese questions, but i am really interested in Tucks and really want to go there. Anyway, I was wondering what the weather is normally like in early april? Is it sunny? in the 20's? Windy?

What is the likeliness that the leantos would be full for the last weekend in March if I got there at Pinkham Notch on a friday evening (the night before the weekend).

You guys have been a real help.

Weather at Tucks is all over the place. Could be sunny and warm or burtal cold and windy... see Our Weather Forecast (http://timefortuckerman.com/weatherforecast.html) to get an idea. I've been there in snow storms mid/late May, or windy and rock hard, unskiable one week, the next beautiful corn snow and sunny. Best bet is just to plan on a weekend you can go and just do it.... pray you get a usuable weekend, or pout about it and try again next year.

Good chance of a lean-too in March. Gets iffy in April/May, long weekends or weekends with balmy weather. See
