Ottawa Ski Centers Start to Open (Sort of)

Well here is Ottawa Ontario its a cold blue sky morning and -6C (21F). I just read in the local paper that Edelweiss Valley opens today! About 300ft of beginner slope is open for those looking for first 'flat' tracks on 100% pure man/woman made snow for $20 Cdn (thats about $15 US). Not sure that I'm up to all the poling involved though :skierfrowning:

I think they will just have the T-bar open ?

Yup nobody was on, I probably timed out in chat. All the chatters were sharping their skis on sandpaper last night.

Was the beginner double running today at Edelweis not the T-bar.

Yesterday night, at least, I talked few minutes with Kfarrar and Kmrnskier !

Hmmmm, ski tomorrow, I should have skied Bromont today (or any mountain in the townships) with 14-18" of powder (without lifts), but I will be faithful to MSS, I think. Anyway, Bromont would have been super crowded on the little side opened...
