Sorry for the outage this morning. Was time to reboot the server after some 110 days of up time (try that on a Microsoft Server! :D )

We're headed off to SNOWY adk land today, might get in some sort of sliding, although it is warming back up already and the snow will be doing some serious melting in the next few days :(

The problem with Unix developers is upper management ordering castration procedures for all the non-unix developers.

Noticed it was down, I was surfing TFT, and BLAMO !

I was cut off.

I was pissed at the school. LOL

I was like "GOD what do they pay these IT people for, our network always goes down"

And it actualy does go down all the time.

Drives me nutz cause im IT outside of school, so i have to sit silently and watch the horror take place infront of my eyes.

MySQL came out with a new edition i believe recently which who ever runs it needs to let their host'ees know so that they can patch any forums they may have running or an "Outage" may occur.

I got this news from simple machines the otherday about my forum software im using. Ill have to check my host to see if startlogic is going to be using it and have to patch the forum.

(am i making any sense, this is sorta new to me still)
