OH NO, Not another contest by Franko :D .

Let's just make some simple and clear rules and this should be ok ;)

What will be the 3 first ski areas to open in the East and when ? We don't count Tenney, cause there is only jibbing, but anything bigger than Tenney, with normal turns possible, counts (Even Woodbury).

Personnaly, I think I will make my predictions a little bit later than on FTO, cause the weather forecast is less good than yesterday :( :( :(

1 : Mont Saint-Sauveur : november 9
2 : Killington : november 10
3 : Okemo : november 11

The other "hot choices" actually are Bretton Woods and Woodbury.

Why does it have to be 3? Thats just too much thinking for me right now. I just can't wait for Smuggs to open up. You know, ski pass and all...

After November 1st - I lose interest in who opens first... I just want Hunter to open... Cause like Elwood - thats where I have my season pass.

If Killington opens 11/10 - I'll just blow it off because Hunter will open the next weekend...

11/15 is Ullr Fest at Hunter.... Big bonfire with skis and board burning as a sacrifice...

After November 1st - I lose interest in who opens first... Exactly D to tha izzem C When it is this late in the season its just straight depressing to have an opening contest. Especially with all the external crap that goes into getting a resort to open up...The most important thing is when YOU will be skiing first. And sad to say that wont be happening till at least 2nd week of november with current forecast...I will forecast the day that Killington changes its advertising from late-oct early nov opening to mid novemeber... thatll be in about 2 days. yep

I say Cannon My back yard....I have been chopping ice cubes up for a few weeks jsut waitin for some cooler temps so I can build up the base. It aint too much vertical but it is home ya know?

We should have got married earlier cuz then we would have that shiny new blender.

Bretton Woods. November 8th.

Killington on the 8th or 9th.

Beyond that, I don't know.

Also, I have no knowledge of Canadian ski resorts & thier openings, so that's just for Eastern US.
