I was at the bush yesterday and missed you. Rode the south side on what limited was open. It was worth 5.50 for sure. Tried stowe this morning but it is windy as and I have a hard time spending that much cash for lifts on wind delay.

Gonna be here for 9 days so I think stowe tomorrow and Jay on sunday or monday.

Let me know who can make it and when.

Yeah sorry man - made a last minute decision to blow it off (3 - 3-1/2 hour drive each way for me) due to sketchy conditions....now that I am at work I am wondering what madness was going thru my head yesterday....Was everything boilerplate or just wet???

I hear its dumping up there now (windy though?)- am thinking of heading up Sunday :sugarbush: for a 1/2 day ticket (12:15)...... Unfortunatly :jaypeak: is too much of a hike for a daytrip for me.

Anyway - Enjoy tommorow should be sweet with the winds dying, should by :sun: with lots of :snowflakes: to play in...!!!!!

PepperDawg: How do you get to sugarbush? I am 22% interested in hitching a ride from north of boston. I've got a friend who lives at the base of the mountain if we wanted to crash sunday night and drive home early monday.

Simpsons' is a repeat sunday night so I don't need to be home.

I live just south of Springfield (MA - not in the Simpsons 'mystery' state)....
:D

So I just shoot up 91-89 and then depending on road conditions either head over Rochester Mountain via Bethel exit and up Rt 100N or stay on 89 till Waterbury exit to 100S....

Anyway - Enjoy tommorow should be sweet with the winds dying, should by :sun: with lots of :snowflakes: to play in...!!!!! Winds are still kicking here. We actually went x-country skiing at the Von Trapps. Pretty funny...two snowboard types in snowboard gear with two planks on their feet and a whacking stick in each hand.

Actually heard some joker say "oh look...snowboarders!" funny stuff.

Keep me posted on where and if you make it too the Bush on Sunday. We live just east of montpelier so the bush or stowe are about the same distance. The wife is off on sunday and monday. I have got to get out again soon...to make up for having skis on my feet.

You dint miss much but the cheap price the other day.

Keep in touch.

Yo Bannick -

Sorry ya couldn't make it. Ya didn't miss too much - a decent day, but I think I've been spoiled this year.

Actually I didnt make it to the lift until 12:40, so did a couple of laps looking for ya, and then headed up and eventually over to North. South had some really funky flat light going on. Which appeared to be a little less scraped off, ended up lapping the 2 upper quads all afternoon.....

Yeah I dunno what the cards hold for me for the next few days - all depends on IF the snowgods are good to us....If they are, I will be in the north ASAP

PS -check your PM
